Meet Our Providers

Jill Vaughan Tesei, APRN

Jill is a board-certified Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in child, adolescent and adult mental health. A Yale University graduate, she also holds Master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapies from Lesley University.

With over 20 years of experience in psychiatric care, including inpatient, emergency and private practice settings, Jill specializes in anxiety-related disorders. She completed specialized training in psychopharmacology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Behavioral Parent Training through the Yale Child Study Center, and furthered her CBT expertise at the Beck Institute. Jill is a clinical professor at the Yale University School of Nursing and brings a compassionate, evidence-based approach to TMS therapy, helping patients who haven’t found success with traditional treatments find relief through NeuroStar® TMS.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Maryellen Pachler Kennell, APRN

Maryellen is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. She earned her nursing, master’s and post-master’s degrees from Yale University. Before entering private practice, she worked as a clinical researcher at the Yale Child Study Center, contributing to the Research Unit in Pediatric Psychopharmacology (RUPP), where her research focused on developing and testing medications for children with serious psychiatric conditions.

Her clinical expertise includes treating depression, ADHD, tic disorders and trichotillomania, as well as Behavioral Parent Training and developmental guidance. She specializes in the Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD in youth. Maryellen has co-authored over ten publications, lectured nationally and internationally, and serves as a lecturer at the Yale University School of Nursing.
